Dr. Ronald Murray is a senior partner at GroupIT. His career has included organizational consulting, public and private sector management, university teaching, and military service. Ron spent 12 years in the Ontario Public Service in a variety of management positions with leadership responsibilities in organization development, project management, strategic planning and management, and the management of information technology and systems. He has consulted with several organizations, designing and leading their organization development and change management projects to a successful completion. Ron was the founder and president of MicroAge Computer Stores in Kingston.

After graduating from Royal Military College, Ron obtained his Ph. D. at Queen’s University in 1975 having focused on developing a humanistic approach to the use of General Systems Theory concepts in social science.

Dr. Murray has developed a systemic approach to organizational change management that overcomes the difficulties created by ineffective partial and incremental change management. Ron is currently in the process of publishing a book on this comprehensive, integrated, and strategic approach to managing organizational change.
